Two studies from Pennsylvania State University (USA) found out that eating Prunes daily could help prevent bone lose in post-menopausal women. In fact, only four prunes have 23% of our daily need of vitamin K that produces proteins that that play a role in bone formation and 6% of our daily need of potassium.
The findings from both studies are based on information of 235 post-menopausal women and were shared in the annual meeting of the North American Society of Menopause (NAMS) in Atlanta, Georgia.
