After an outstanding participation and presence at MEWA India 2026, the Chilean prune delegation, led by Chileprunes and associated brands, is now participating in Gulfood Dubai, which is taking place from Monday, January 26, to Friday, January 30.
At Superfruit—represented by Pablo Morandé, José Antonio Soffia, and Martín Correa—they point out that being at this event “is a great opportunity to meet our customers, partners, and friends, develop business relationships, obtain market information, and continue positioning our products in international markets.”
For his part, Chileprunes Executive Director Pedro Acuña points out that Chile’s participation in Gulfood “is a very interesting event, with visitors from all over the world and, as in previous years, all our partners are very much present. The dynamic is one of many meetings. It will be extraordinary to catch up with the market and finalize purchase commitments, business deals with our regular buyers and some new ones.”
Vicente Cepeda mentions that Prunesco wants to “continue to lead the global conversation on prunes,” which is why they are present at this important fair. At Frutexsa, meanwhile, they point out that they “have prepared themselves to be part of Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest food trade platform. A key meeting point where the global industry connects, innovates, and projects the future of food. This year, we will participate by reaffirming our commitment to quality and seeking new opportunities for networking and international collaboration.
Gulfood is the largest trade fair for food and beverage business, supply and innovation in the Middle East and Africa. Held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it welcomes over 5,500 exhibitors from more than 130 countries. In recent years, Chile has been a leading participant, showcasing its healthy, safe, and sustainable food products, including prunes, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, raisins and oats, among others.
