Goretti Guasch, executive director of The International Nuts and Dried Fruit Council (INC) informed on Tuesday April the 8th that the Guild Association of Chilean Prunes Processers and Producers (Asociación Gremial de Procesadores y Exportadores de Ciruelas Secas), Chileprunes, has been appointed member of that organization after being ratified by its board of directors.
This membership implies a commitment to drive the global dried and dehydrated fruit industry towards a sustainable, innovative and prosperous future. “Its contribution is fundamental to support our collective mission to foster the sustainable growth and to benefit the companies throughout the world”, says Guasch.
Besides the collective support of the industry, belonging to INC also means an opportunity to promote the Chileprunes trade mark globally through various initiatives fostered by INC; this organization has a pavilion in three of the biggest food fairs in the world: SIAL in Paris, Anuga in Köln, Germany and Gulfood in Dubai.
“INC Pavilion is a way to show your trademark to thousands of visitors and to make global long-lasting connections to promote your business. Through our publications, we have many advertising options to make your trademark recognized to the objective customer and to make your message and service known”, adds INC executive director.
In addition to the invaluable growth opportunities, being an INC member makes available a great amount of resources designed to promote Chileprune partner’s initiatives. This means a statistical data base with more than 700,000 statistical records and the magazine Nutfruit and even weekly actualizations on the sector tendencies.
“Thanks again for your support and commitment to our shared vision. Together we will continue to facilitate the sustainable supply and consumption sharing the health advantages and benefits of dried and dehydrated fruits globally”, concludes Goretti Guasch.
